A Thank You Powell Sertoma Story

Family

I'm writing to say a HUGE thank you for the delicious turkey dinner my family and I had on Thanksgiving. It was the best ever!

The turkey was so yummy and juicy, and I ate a mountain of mashed potatoes and gravy – so good! My favorite part, though, was the pumpkin pie. It was creamy and sweet, and the perfect end to a perfect meal.

Before our dinner, things were kind of tough at home. We didn't have much, and I wasn't really looking forward to the holidays. But thanks to your kind hearts and generous turkey dinner, our house was filled with the yummy smells of holiday food and happy smiles. You gave us a night to forget our worries and just enjoy each other's company.

Seeing my parents relax and laugh around the table, without the stress of having to worry about the holidays, made me feel like the luckiest kid in the world. You brought our family closer and put a big, warm glow in our hearts.

So, from the bottom of my belly (where all the yummy turkey went!), thank you, Powell Sertoma! You made our Christmas extra special, and I'll never forget your kindness.

P.S. Maybe I can help out at one of your dinners next year? I'm a pretty good veggie cutter!
