A Very Big Thank You from our members!!


Thanks to everyone that helped our Holiday Dinners Event with your kind donations, as we raised almost $5,000 which allowed us to provide 115 complete family dinners during Thanksgiving and the Holiday season. These complete family turkey dinners with all the fixing, ends up being almost 700 individual meals enjoyed by a deserving families of adults and children in the comfort and privacy of the home.


In 7 years we have raised approximately $30,000 and supplied over 715 turkey dinners for 4,300 indivudual meals.


Thanks for your help from the Powell Sertoma Club for making this ongoing event a success.




The Powell Sertoma Club emphasis is toward the community. Community projects have included the Fire Department's Smoke House, Powell Cruise-In, Holiday Dinners for families in need, and the Powell Festival.

 

We welcome anyone interested in helping the community to join us for a one-time complimentary lunch meeting. Then join us as a member!

 

Established July 16, 1997 and since has disbursed over $225,000.00 to benefit our community.

Sertoma Purpose!

Founded in 1912, Sertoma is the third oldest civic service organization. Sertomans total about 26,000 members in 800 clubs throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Members raise about $20 million annually through local fund raisers.

 

Sertomas' main sponsorship focus is on Speech and Hearing. Sertoma Clubs across North America encourage women and men of all ages and races to join.
